Photograph a scar and write about it.

This is a picture of Syd's upper left arm. When she was eight she liked to swing herself in the kitchen with one hand on the "island" (center counter in the kitchen) and the other on a wooden towel rack that was screwed to the counter's front. One day when she was thus swinging, the towel rack broke off and the screws left in the wood scraped a gash in Syd's arm as she fell to the floor. She says she didn't even feel it until she looked over and saw her arm covered in blood. No stitches were required.
