A relationship with the local Goodwill has become somewhat of a normalcy in our society. The act of giving to be reused is part of the equation. Another is the buying of the used, something with a prior owner, something with a prior identity. This full relationship becomes more tactile when the item retains a handprint of the previous owner. In this I mean a name, an address, or a simple note. If you have an item with a "handprint" of the previous owner, write them a simple thank you note. Send a picture of both of them together. If you have an address, it is up to you to send it or not. It's the thought that counts!
