Example:
When I was five, my mother left us to go sober up. At the time, I didn't understand why she had to leave us, and her absence created a lot of anxiety. Before she left, one of her friends gave me a Heather Hobbie doll. She was about a foot long, dressed in Little House on the Prairie garb and had blondish brown hair and blue eyes. My sister had her counter part, Holly Hobbie. Whenever I was feeling scared about my mother not coming back, I would chew on Heather's yarn hair which peculiarly had a salty taste to it, which made me want to chew it even more. Today, Heather is packed away in a box, with only a couple strands of yarn on her head.
