My daughter and husband came in from outside with their forearms covered in poison oak burns (they had been "observing" squirrels). I wasn't quite sure what to do, but some deep healing instinct took over. "Rinse your arms under running cool water!" I chopped off the ends of my aloe vera plant, squished the goo into my palm, then mixed it with 5 or 6 drops of pure essential oil of lavender...I smeared this all over their blisters. By the time I wiped my hands from the goo, the blisters were gone! It was miraculous.
