What is that one thing you love to do, but never have time/money/energy to do? Is it rock climbing, eating chocolate, just laying around doing nothing? Whatever it is, go do it. Free yourself from the idea of other obligations. Do not allow yourself to feel regret or self-doubt over taking this action. Know that you are doing this for you, and that all else is irrelevant. But as you do this, always remember not to allow your actions to harm others. For if harm comes to others, you will lose the peace/energy/joy that this action brings to you. Indulging yourself in something you love works great for darn near everything. Whether you are just going through the ordinary blahs, or your energy/mindset is completely sapped by a serious illness, treating yourself a bit better than usual will alter your mindset and allow you to get on with what you want and/or need to do.
