I'm about to throw out a used paper plate in the trash and I see a recyclable container and a soda can in the trash.
Me: What is this?!
My mom gives me a look.
Me: I'm really sick of you guys constantly throwing out recyclable things in the trash.
Mom: We try the best we can.
Me: No you guys don't. I keep finding like 50 plastic bottles every time I'm about to take out the trash.
Mom:Well, maybe we'd be better at recycling if you got better at taking out the trash.
Me:I take out the trash all the time, and I'm fucking sick of having to take all of your recylcling out of the trash.
My mom, dad, and my sister are shocked.
Dad: Hey, I'm all for recycling.
Sister: Me too.
Me: Yeah, well, it doesn't seem like it.
