Walk and Lunge: This is an exercise I use whenever I've been sitting too long, especially in front of a computer screen. It gets the blood flowing, refocuses the vision, realigns the spine and the attitude, and strengthens both little neglected muscles, and the big ones in your legs that drive you. My dad taught me the lunging and stabilizing, and I added the straight leg stretch, which I do often by itself. When I've been sitting cramped up and miotic, I use this to stretch out my stride again. Start with plenty of room in front of you.
