Whenever and however I die, I would like to be buried in a cemetery closest to a forest and in a seasonally warm place. At my funeral, I would like the song 'Cold Water' by Damien Rice to be played extremely loud.
I do not under any circumstances want to be cremated, because there's always a chance I might not have died. I want to be buried in an open area, and I would like it if Jose plants a tree on the one year anniversary of my death. I would like the tree to be directly on top of my grave so the roots will forever hug me.
I would like to be visited at least every week by my Jose, and I would like for them to sit on my grave and talk out loud to me. I don't want any flowers, because they'll just wither away on me and a poor old sexton will have to rake them up. So save the flowers. Instead, I want letter to left on top of my tombstone. Since I wouldn't want Jose to waste any trees, I would like all of my letters to be written on banana paper. Even though the letters may seem useless because I wouldn't be able to read them, but I would like to know that Jose and my family always thinks of me.
I want pomegranate juice sprinkled over my grave yearly. And last but not least, I want my tombstone inscription to be, 'Only when the last tree has died, and the last river has been poisoned, and the last fish has been caught, will we realize that we cannot eat money'.
