1. The Olympics happened in the city that I lived in and I spent a lot of time at the carnival set up at the federal building in honor of the event. My summer camp was at the park next door.
2. It was also the first time I went to summer camp.
3. It was at that summer camp that I began losing things, and then finding them again. Which went on to become a life long issue.
4. That summer, it was my retainer.
5. I was nine, and it was the first time I wished I had another dad.
