1. Listened to and saw U2 (on TV) for first time, leaving me to ponder two things: A. wether I would marry Bono or Larry Mullen Jr. and B. wether or not nothing really changes on New Year's Day (I mean, the date?).
2. I lived through the first whole year of life without my mom, who died on May 19, 1983, of liver cancer.
3. I experienced stress-induced vomiting for the first and last time, after discovering another woman in my dead mother's (father's) bed, teaching me that stuffing emotions is a lame and sickly practice.
4. I ate my first Thai meal (homemade) at my friend Melissa's house.
5. I visited the Bay Area for the first time.
