1. I turned eight years old and the twins, the most popular girls in my class, came to my birthday party. We bobbed for apples.
2. My third grade class went on a field trip and took BART under the San Francisco Bay. Our teacher, Mrs. Slater, stepped of the train for a moment as we were getting ready to leave and somehow managed to miss the train. I still remember her laughing and running after it. All of us kids laughed and waved through the window. I loved and still love that she was laughing.
3. My brother ran away from home. I missed him so much. That left just me in the house with my mom.
4. Kenneth Barton told me I was pretty.
5. My sister took me on a camping trip at Lake Shasta. I got to drink soda and wear my swimsuit for two weeks straight.
