Dorms are dirty. If you have allergies, you especially will notice this. If you get a stuffy head, runny nose, or a cough, here's a way to fix it. (works fine at home too)
Go to the community bathroom with a towel. Turn on the hot water in the sink and let it run till it's steaming hot (dorm water heaters are set higher than residential, so it will get REAL hot). Bend over the sink, place the towel over your head and around the sink forming a tent that will fill with thick steam. You can also put a little eucalyptus oil or Vick's on the rim of the sink to help the lungs. Breathe deep and cough if you need to. This will help loosen sinuses and lungs. Good for your complexion, too!
This is a good therapy that won't leave you fuzzy like cough syrup.
