The apathy I'm encountering about the upcoming election has literally made me sick. I believe the last straw came when the guy I'm dating (who holds a degree in Political Science, by the way) told me he wasn't sure he was going to vote on the 2nd. He, as most other undecided voters I've talked to, actually had the gall to tell me his one vote didn't really matter.
I begged. I pleaded. I held debate parties. I came to the end of my rope.
Then I decided to save what little voice I had left. I am healing myself by designing, making and wearing this sweatshirt every day until the election. I believe it speaks for itself, and for me, which is most important for my sanity. Every second glance it gets makes me feel better, for at least people are reading it.
Addendum: This message, however, only holds true if you are voting for John Kerry. Otherwise, I urge you to stay home and continue your apathy there.
