When my girlfriend and I of ten years split a few weeks ago, I was and still am devastated. This amazing woman was such a huge part of my life and there was and still is an overwhelming amount of pain. I made this large painting/collage as a way to help heal the pain of rejection and uncertainty, to channel the hope I still have, but also as an attempt to heal the bond between us. I gave it as a gift to her, kind of a huge love letter.
