For immediate release.
Kate Bryant drank Lipton tea out of a paper cup today.
In keeping with her desire to reduce waste, Kate Bryant has routinely made it a point to avoid disposable products, especially those used for packaging food.
Unfortunately, these attempts are often thwarted when it comes to Ms. Bryant's workplace since she has repeatedly failed to anticipate for future cups of tea by arming herself with a ceramic or travel-style mug.
It comes as no surprise then that Ms. Bryant was again ill-equipped to deal with today's bout of post-lunch drowsiness, which necessitated a quick pick-me-up. While Lipton tea hardly compares to the aromatic Oolongs, Earl Greys, or Gen-mai Chais she prefers, she reluctantly conceded, "[The Lipton tea] is free and it tastes better than the instant coffee that's available. I don't really have a lot of choice in the matter."
Ms. Bryant then tossed the loose bag of tea into a paper cup and filled it with hot water. She opted, however, to go without the plastic lid or the single-serve honey packets. "Well, it's one step in the right direction."
