Aisling's College Freshman Advice, To High School Freshman Aisling.
1. Stop conforming. In college you'll be required to write what makes you unique, and you'll draw a blank, for days.
2. Be confident. One day all your friends will turn against you. For once you'll stand there alone, protecting yourself
3. Appreciate family. Your grandmother will pass, you'll sister will grow up. Things will change but your family's love doesn't.
4. Write more. It will help you get into college, convey ideas, and get things accomplished
5. Learn more. When all your friends go to great universities, you'll wish you studied more.
6. Don't eat cheesecake. It's not worth the gain.
7. Wear your retainers. When your teeth start shifting braces are so not cool at 20.
8. Remember where you're from. You'll have to come home and face it eventually.
9. Save money. You'll hate being a broke college student in NYC.
10. Don't impress. Stressing to impress will plague your high school years. The popularity isn't worth it.
