Advice to Kelly at age 10:
1. Just because Mom and Dad are splitting up doesn't mean they don't love you.
2. Be nice to your brother; he is hurting as much as you are and you could really help each other out.
Age 14:
3. Tell Dad straight up that you want to live with Mom, and that you still love him. If you don't, you will have to go through a really rough custody battle and no one will be happy.
Age 16:
4. Don't be afraid to talk to people, you have a lot to offer and you are a great person.
5. Don't go out with Ryan, you aren't ready for a boyfriend yet and you will always wish that you waited to kiss a boy so that it would have been under better circumstances
Age 18:
6. Tod is a great person, and you should keep dating him.
7. Do Not go on a walk with Stuart- he is bad news and he will not treat you with respect.
8. Keep working hard at art, it is your passion and you will eventually major in it, so don't get discouraged when you don't get accepted in the art program; sometimes you have to try more than once to make the really important things happen.
9. Keep on dancing- you have a lot of potential.
