Age 20:
1. So pretty much you might have screwed up by not really studying for that exam that you very much bombed and is a requirement for your major. Who the hell needs COS 120 anyways? You're a New Media major dammit! A newly declared New Media major, even though these classes seem worthless and stupid right now just know that in the end you'll do just fine, you always do. Just keep working hard and everything will be fine.
Age 18:
2. Boy High School is going fast. You must be super nervous about the musical that's coming up. You're friends and family are all going to see you and you are ashamed of your singing voice, but don't worry, everyone tells you you do a great job on stage so I'm sure you will do fine opening night. Just get plenty of sleep, eat right, and keep up with your school work, just try not to get sick, that happens every year because you stay up wayyyy too late.
Age 16:
3. Friends are really making you upset right now, they are getting cars and going out with girls. Girls like you, you just don't know it, or you're way too shy to be able to talk to them. It's not your fault that you don't have your license yet, Dad's busy and the driver's ed teacher got fired and now you're stuck going every morning at 7 AM thanks to the basketball teams saying it's "convenient." Just keep it up, you love managing hockey and jazz band is not too shabby, keep busy and you'll be fine.
Age 14:
4. 8th grade is a fun time for you but High School is going to be coming up fairly soon. Your friends want you to have a movie night at your house but your parents aren't too interested in the idea. There's another way to be social with them, take them to the mall, or how about going to the movies? Lots of great movies came out. Oh and don't worry about Heidi, her relationship with Brian won't last long..
Age 12:
5. Silent reading is so boring right now, don't we read enough books as it is? God! Middle School is a massive step up from Elementary School but wow it's a lot of work, damn. Just keep doing your homework and you'll be fine, it's good that homework is a bigger deal than tests since you aren't a really good test taker. Good to have your brother around too isn't it? And don't watch too many scary movies, Friday the 13th might seem like a badass film but every time you've watched it you've stayed up all night because you can't sleep! Oh and don't buy so many CDs!
