stephanie: alright. listen, i'm calling because i have to tell you something.

stephanie: i think i'm in love with you.
me: what??

me: you think you are?
stephanie: i'm pretty sure I am.

me: i thought you said you'd never been in love.
stephanie: well, i was confused when i said that.
me: what's changed?
stephanie: i was scared before. i guess it was all too much for me, and i got scared and ran away. i'm sorry. i know i hurt you.
me: geeze, stephanie, i don't know what to say.
stephanie: you know how you said that I was the one you wanted, and you didn't want anyone else?
me: yes
stephanie: you're the one I want; i don't want to be with anyone else.
me: you mean that?
stephanie: i mean it.
me: wow. just a second. *pause* you know that's the way i feel.
stephanie: okay. *pause* i'm glad. i'm really glad. i have to go right now, but maybe we could see each other soon?
me: what are you doing tonight?
stephanie: seeing you?
