me: I'm good, i need to tell you something..

me: I know in a couple of days you'll be out doing what you love, fixing up your yard and making it look just perfect, just like you always do, but I know what will happen, and that uncle david will find you, after not hearing from you for days. I know that time will have passed without anyone knowing that you are there laying on the cold cement floor in the garage. I want you to know that I thought about you, that I will think about you. I know its passed, but if I could tell you now what I wish I could've back then I would. Over and over again.

me: I love you papa, you mean the world to me and you always have. I always thought about you and I've learned now that thinking wasn't enough, because the last time I saw you, I never thought it would be goodbye...if I could take all the time back I would. If I knew it was the last time, I would've hugged you longer, and I would have stayed up with you later, I would have watched you more and I would've taken the time admire the little things about you. I would have said I love you one more time. You mean the world to me papa, you will forever be my hero and one of the greatest people I have ever known. I love you..
