I've been thinking about this for awhile. I've actually written a message on the back of my drivers license that says you can use my parts, as long as you absolutely make sure I'm dead.
I would still like to be in a cemetery, but not in the conventional sense. I would like my life story to be there, which I think is far more important than a pile of decomposing bones. I imagine a headstone with a LCD screen in it. When someone walks near the plot it would trigger the DVD player imbedded in the headstone. My face would appear and I would narrate my life story. Clips of me playing tennis as a young boy, photos of me growing up, X-girlfriends, career highlights, of course some back story, my parents, brother, then culminating in some shots of my kids (if and when I have them). They could call it Tomb Town? I think it would be far more interesting place then the present day cemeteries. A place where you can celebrate peoples lives. A place where family members could learn about their ancestors. Of course some people want to grieve, so Wednesdays could be grievement day. It's a bad day anyway why not make expand upon that idea? On that day the videos would be turned off, giving people a chance to shed some tears in peace.
