When I die I want my body to be sent out to sea at sunset on a raft made of popsicle sticks and sails made of muslin. I want this raft to be over flowing with Black-eyed Susans, no matter what the season. I want my cousin Molly to hold an old school boom box high over her head blaring out our favorite Sylvie Vartan tune. And once my popsicle raft is out of sight, beyond the horizon and the sun has gone down, I want my friends and family to release their silence, light up a huge bonfire, open expensive bottles of wine, eat fancy wheels of imported cheese, tell their most embarrassingly silly anecdotes about me and fill up the empty space I left behind with laughter.
