When I die, my greatest hope is that all parts be donated to the fullest extent. You like my eyes? Please take them. You like my bones? Please take them too. Run tests on my cells that may save lives in the future. Cut my hair and make a wig for chemotherapy patients. The quality of my lungs, liver and innards are up for medical discretion. Take everything, leave nothing. And then, if anything remains, make that into ashes and give them to my beloved husband. If I am to be sprinkled, I would like to join the sand and the sea.
