When I die, I will feel everything that touches me. Treat my body as though I were still alive but with even more tenderness, because I will be desperate for it then. Once I am dead, I will feel less and less as time goes on. After a few days, all I will feel is the cold-- then, when I no longer hold any color, warm me up. Dress me in my favorite clothes and let me sit closer to the fire than I've ever had the chance to before. The heat of the fire will eventually dissolve me, but don't worry. It will be a happy end, like Christmas.
