When I die, I want to be creamated. I don't believe that there is need for me to be put in a box in the ground to rot. If I'm not being embalmed (which I do not want to be), then anything important about me will be retained in the memories of those who knew me. Before I am finally creamated, I want a funeral so people can show up, pay their respects and tell me what they think of me. I want them to tell me that I was a great person, or if they thought so, that I was a total jerk and they are glad that I died. The funeral should be very casual, like jeans and t-shirts. I don't want anyone crying. I want my ashes to be scattered on a pristine beach at sunset by my mom and dad because it might also give them an excuse to go on a nice vacation.
