Hey Jamie,
Is there anything special about being seventeen? Well, today I found out that I can go to California in June. I am pretty dang ecstatic. You can probably remember the feeling. Austin called me a butt head and I chased him around and tickled him and he laughed his cute little laugh. I am so excited about the concert on Monday. OREGON TRAIL TOUR!!!!! Right now I'm tired, happy, and a little worried. We don't have a ride and I'm not sure about getting out of school early. I hope this summer is fantastic! I hope to have made plenty of chalk murals and to have gone on at least one poofing spree. I hope I don't slack off as much in school. Currently I love the song "We've Only Just Begun" by Run Kid Run. If you haven't listened to it recently, then you should listen to it now. Remember that 38 years ago tomorrow the National Guard killed 4 young people & wounded 12 just because....I don't know why. Remember that 2 of the murdered kids were just walking to their next class. Remember that the protesters only had rocks. Now go listen to the song "Ohio." Love everyone. Be just as crazy as ever. Have all the fun you can. Don't be such a slacker. Don't freak out about school crap though. Listen to mom and do what she asks. Don't be so hard on yourself. Whatever it is you think you did wrong...don't sweat it. Give more hugs. Oh yeah, remember "Peace and love and all of the above." If you're reading this, I'm glad you're still alive. TV sucks.
Signed Sincerely, Me
