1. We moved from Northern California to Northern Italy.
2. My Mother taught me to read using a book about a monkey named Olo.
3. I was enrolled in a kindergarten for Italian children yet I only spoke English.
4. School custom was that all children, regardless of gender, would pee infront of eachother at breaktime if they had to go. I peed near the toybox while no one was looking instead.
5. I ran into a shelf corner with my forehead and a woman from down the hall put a 500 lira coin on the wound to stop the bleeding. I still have a cyclopsian dent.
