3. I experienced bigotry for the first time because I talked funny, with an accent that slowly disappeared. It was gone by 1985.
4. I danced to the Pointer Sisters in my best friend's basement, me especially favoring the tune "Automatic".
5. I set off my first fireworks for the 4th of July, in my friend's driveway, and used the smoke from the smoke bombs to dye my tennis shoes rainbow colors.
