1) Me and My little brother Timmy and another lady whose name I can't remember found an aboriginal burial site in the sand on the Coorong in rural australia and told my mum and she told the park ranger and then there was a photo in the newspaper. I wasn't scared at all but Timmy had nightmares.
2) I thought that I wanted to own Mr Haralampopoulous's tan coloured mazda RX7 and I thought I would really have made it in the world if I had a car with a sunroof. He wore tracksuit pants and lacoste shirts with the collar up. I think it was because he wanted to be taller. My mum thought I had a crush on him. But really I wanted to BE him. He scored all the hot chicks.
3) I was in a musical version of little red riding hood and sang the role of grandmother. Sadly, the video documentation was destroyed during my annoying teen years when I taped over the footage with a copy of degrassi junior high. Deliberately.
4) I can't be 100% sure about this but I THINK I started growing pubic hair. I remember being annoyed and faintly disgusted by it.
5) My Auntie Jeanne (she was my trendy aunt - our family were the bogans in the greater family tree) gave me the same thing for my birthday in october and christmas that year. It was strawberry shortcake toiletry set. I frigging hated strawberry shortcake. I still do.
