Lately I've had a run of "shit luck" and have been feeling pretty bummed out. This is about the only thing that's worked for me.
1. Put on a cd that is adaptable to many different moods. The Me and You and Everyone We Know soundtrack is especially good for this.
2. Draw a cool bath (in summer) or a hot bath (in winter)
3. Climb in and have a good cry.
4. Have a loving kitten who will now come and perch on the side of the bathtub and lick your face while crying along.
5. Put your facr underwater and quickly flip your head up.
6. Take several deep breaths.
7. Get out, towl off, and hug your kitten.
8. Feel better.
9. Repeat as necessary. Request hugs from friends as needed.
