Margaret : Alston, I need you to be ready for church in the morning.
Alston: I don't want to go.
Margaret: You're going.
Me: You are really dragging him to church?
Dad: It's not dragging.
Me: Well, if he doesn't want to go, then it's dragging.
Margaret (in a very mean/angry tone): I love you, Sarah, but I really don't appreciate you putting down Christianity.
Me: Putting down Christianity? That statement has nothing to do with Christianity. It has to do with my belief that forcing religion on people is wrong. He's 13, and fully capable of deciding what he wants to believe in. And you know what? You're a fucking hypocrite. If you don't want me speaking about my beliefs, which happen to be anti-Christian, then why don't you stop gabbing on about God 24/7. If me talking about my beliefs is putting down Christianity, then you talking about Christianity is putting down my beliefs. You don't want to hear about my beliefs, and you can be damn sure I don't want to hear about yours. I'll show your religion some respect when you start doing the same for me.
