It was almost 13 years ago when i lost my mother, i took care of her the last few years of her life as well as my family of 4 kids and a husband.
i used to take her to dialysis treatments and doctors appointments. we spent a lot of time together clear up until the end. we used to talk of the times when my sisters and i were young, we talked about how my niece and my nephews as well as my kids were going to miss out on a lot by her not going to be there when they were grown. we talked a lot about our family, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. (my mom was very family oriented).
my children were young when my mother passed away but we still talk about her a lot. my baby was 5 at the time but even she has a few memories of my mother.
we go to the grave site and we talk about mom, i have even taken my grandchildren to meet her (in our own special way). i wish she was here to hold them and see how grown my kids and grandkids have gotten.
but she is in a better place, but i miss our talks more than ever!
