I was diagnosed with chronic Lyme disease in late May of 2008, after having experienced almost 9 months of severe migraines, fevers, body aches, memory loss, fatigue, visual hallucinations and depression. Apparently, the tick had bitten me two years before. I remember once finding a bulls eye rash too, and I went to the doctor to get her opinion. I really don't like going to the doctor, but I knew this wasn't something to mess around with. She said it was a mosquito bite, and I she was wrong. Soon after getting the right diagnosis, I began treatment. They prescribed me with these huge blue pills that cause yeast infections and a lot of other stuff. I actually got sicker. One day, I had to be rushed to the emergency room in an ambulance. My doctor wanted to do a series of tests. He decided the best thing to do would be to have me hooked up to an IV for 30 days. They put in my left arm. It left this mark. I am now a healthy bean.
