Once at age two or three, I was watching The Incredible Hulk with my two older brothers. They took turns unplugging the TV from an extension cord making the hulk dissappear and reappear over and over. Finding this game fascinating, I tried to unplug the cord from the extension cord myself. I wasn't strong enough to pull the cords apart with my hands alone. So I cleaverly used both hands to pull the extension cord from theTV cord that I held firmly between my teeth. At some point, my wet bottom lip made its way onto the cord prongs. After getting shocked, I remember seeing nothing but waves of intensely colored TV pixels for a little while. My mom said that when she came in,ÊChristian was crying harder than me because he could see my charred lip was the size of a grapefruit. My mom's first thought was that I drank carosine.
