It's a bit hard to tell in these pictures, but I have about 3 or 4 scars on my knuckles. Sophomore year of high school, after golf season ended (yes, I was on golf team), we had study hall the rest of the semester. This girl Lauren and I used to sit and play ÒQuartersÓ the whole time. Quarters is where one person spins a quarter, then you take turns flicking it and whomever makes it fall gets the quarter shot straight at their knuckles from across the table. This doesn't sound very bad, but if the person who's shooting the quarter knows what they're doing and the tables are slick (as cafeteria tables normally are) then some pretty decent damage can be done. On my right hand, there's a crescent shaped scar on my middle knuckle from when a quarter actually stuck in my knuckle when I picked my hand up. The more stupid kids used to play with silver dollars, and one of them got his knuckle actually split open once. Ah, high school.
