A dog bit me when I was three years old. I was petting him while he was drinking water. He turned and lunged at me. His jaws came down on my right cheek, on the top of my head and then again on the back of my head behind both ears. I remember the biting, then my grandmother throwing the dog off me, and the ride to the hospital, but nothing else. I had 57 stitches covering my head and face. The dog was killed later that week. This is all that is left.
