I got this scar the day after Christmas 2003. I was taking my husband to the hospital because he had a horrible case of bronchitis. Well I had just had a baby girl 3 weeks before and had a c-section, so I was still heavily medicated and I fell down a flight of stairs and broke my ankle. The doctor had to put a plate and 6 screws in my ankle to hold it together. I'm having a second surgery tomorrow to have the plate and screws taken back out.
