My parents had a circular birthmark removed from my chin when I was about 2. When I was a child other kids would always ask me what happened to my chin. Now that I'm older, people don't really ask about it; they think that it would offend me or that it would be rude to ask. I wish everyone was as innocent and forward as children. It's refreshing when I meet someone who is.
I'm so thankful for my little "imperfection". Imperfection is human and imperfection is life. Every time I look in the mirror I smile because I'm reminded of how I live in a world that is never perfect and therefore exciting, chaotic and infinitely beautiful.
