This scar belongs to my sister. She is the oldest of the 3 of us. We all have similar scars. Hers is horizontal, and on the bridge of her nose. She's had it since before I was born. She fell in a parked car on the dashboard.
My Brother's is vertical. He got it when I was 5. He was looking around a parked van (for traffic) and hit it on his bike.
I didn't receive mine until I was 22. I was deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. The bolt from an M-249 SAW hit me when the gun exploded. It left a diagonal scar on the bridge of my nose. In way it's made us closer.
