When I was 6 years old, I was exploring our shed. In one section, we kept unused metal roofing. I was trying to get to something behind it, so I had to climb over it. Part of the lazily stack roofing was not properly supported and I just happen to step there. I slipped and a corner of it cut into my left leg on the backside of my knee. The wound hurt, bled and since it was on a joint, would reopen when I would take steps. In hindsight, I probably should have gotten stitches, but we used butterfly bandages instead. I cannot remember the exact period it took to heal, but I will always be reminded of the event by this puffy scar.
